Join us this spring for a Rhododendron Walk at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens each Saturday from March 17 through April 28. More than 1,000 rhododendrons can be seen blooming throughout the Gardens during peak bloom in March, April, and May. Learn more about the Gardens' signature collection including more than 124 species of rhododendrons and 315 taxa, many of them developed by the region's prolific, enthusiastic, and generous rhododendron growers! These walks are free with regular Gardens admission (just plain free to attend if you are a member of the Gardens).
A weekly walk and talk will be lead by one of our local "rhodie" experts:
- Dennis McKiver of the American Rhododendron Society's Noyo Chapter
- MCBG Gardener and Rhododendron Specialist, Jim Celeri
Upcoming 2018 Walks: March 17, March 24, March 31, April 7, April 14, April 21, April 28
Meet on the plaza at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens on the 2nd Saturday of the month at 1:30pm
