Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens invites artists to apply to exhibit their original work at the 33rd annual Art in the Gardens, a juried art show and summer festival. This two-day event will take place on Saturday, August 1 and Sunday, August 2 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Join us for a celebration of creative expression, spectacular gardens, and culinary delights. Guests will enjoy exceptional artwork, dramatic summertime blooms, live entertainment, and musical performances in a stunning coastal setting.
Art in the Gardens is a major fundraiser for the Gardens and attracts up to 2,500 guests each year. Artist booths will be located on the Event Lawn, just a short walk from the Ocean Bluffs, offering beautiful views and excellent visibility. Do not miss this ideal opportunity to connect with new collectors and expand your audience.
To be considered in the jury process, please complete the 2026 Artist Application by Sunday, March 15.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $30 (no booth fee).

A jury will select 50 participating artists and notify all applicants in April.

All artists must commit to setting up and participating in both days of the event.

Participating artists will be required to turn in a 25% commission to the Gardens at the end of the event (5:00 PM; 8/2/26).

The Event Lawn has WiFi and limited cellular service. Artists must be prepared to handle sales offline as a backup. The Gardens cannot handle transactions for artists.
