Details

There is a non-refundable application fee of $30 (no booth fee).
A jury will select 50 participating artists and notify all applicants in April.
All artists must commit to setting up and participating in both days of the event.
Participating artists will be required to turn in a 25% commission to the Gardens at the end of the event (5:00 PM; 8/2/26).
The Event Lawn has WiFi and limited cellular service. Artists must be prepared to handle sales offline as a backup. The Gardens cannot handle transactions for artists.

Artists are typically allotted a 10 ft x10 ft area, we do our best to accommodate larger set-ups when possible, but it is not guaranteed.

Placement Requests (i.e. same spot at last year, next to another artists booth, etc.)

While we do our best to consider your requests, space is limited and we are not always able to give everyone their first choice of placement.

By submitting this application and the non-refundable $30 jury fee, I agree to the specified terms and conditions of participating in the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens' Art in the Gardens.

YES, I understand that this event is a fundraiser for the Gardens and that a 25% commission from all artist's sales will go to the support of the Gardens. Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is a 501(c)3 non-profit botanical garden, our mission is to engage and enrich lives by displaying and conserving plants in harmony with our Northern California coastal ecosystems and to preserve public access to the coast.

YES, I understand that all artists/vendors are responsible for handling their own sales including sales tax. The Gardens will not be handling any artist/vendor transactions.

YES, I agree to comply with all show rules and release Mendocino

Coast Botanical Gardens and its representatives from all liability due to injury, both personal and property, and of damages suffered before, during or after the event, as a result of display of my work, equipment, and materials. I understand there are no refunds or rain checks due to inclement weather.
