More Ways to Give

Supporting the Gardens goes beyond traditional donations. There are many ways to make an impact—through gifts, volunteerism, or special opportunities that align with your interests. Each gift, no matter the form, helps preserve our coastal ecosystems, inspire visitors, and sustain the Gardens for generations to come.

Sponsor an Event

Support special events like Art in the Gardens or Festival of Lights through sponsorship opportunities. Your support helps make these community celebrations possible while showcasing your commitment to the Gardens. Contact us to explore sponsorship options.

Join our Supporter Membership Levels to enjoy unlimited access to the Gardens, exclusive events, and other member benefits. Membership provides ongoing support for the care, conservation, and educational programs of the Gardens.

Give the gift of your time and talent. Volunteers play a vital role in everything from garden care to educational programs and special events. Your contribution of time helps the Gardens thrive and fosters a strong community connection.

Employer Matching Gifts

Many employers will match charitable contributions made by employees. Check with your employer to see if your gift to the Gardens can be doubled—or even tripled—through a matching program.

Tax-smart Giving

Maximize the impact of your gift while potentially reducing your tax burden. These giving options allow you to support the Gardens in a way that is both financially savvy and deeply meaningful, helping preserve our coastal landscapes, conserve plants, and inspire future generations.

Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)

IRA owners over the age of 70½ can use Required Minimum Distributions to make a charitable gift. By directing your RMD to the Gardens, you can support our mission while fulfilling your tax requirements.

Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD)

A Qualified Charitable Distribution allows IRA owners over 70½ to transfer assets directly from their IRA to a qualified charity like the Gardens. This strategy can reduce taxable income while making a meaningful gift that supports plant conservation, education, and community programs.

Stocks & Securities

Donating appreciated stocks or other gifts or appreciated securities can be a tax-smart way to support the Gardens. You may avoid capital gains taxes while receiving a charitable deduction for the full market value of the gift, making a significant impact for our mission.

Donor-Advised Funds (DAF)

Gifts through a Donor-Advised Fund allow you to recommend contributions to the Gardens either during your lifetime or through your estate plan. This flexible approach can provide immediate or future support and may offer tax benefits.
