Membership to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens gives you access to free or discounted admission at other public gardens and institutions through our participation in reciprocal programs.
AHS Reciprocal Garden Network
One of the biggest benefits of membership to the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is access to free or reduced admission and other discounts at more than 380 other gardens nationwide through the American Horticultural Society's (AHS) Reciprocal Garden Network.
How your AHS benefits work at MCBG
A current membership card from the American Horticultural Society (AHS) or a garden participating in the AHS Reciprocal Garden Network entitles you to:

Individual Membership: Free admission to the Gardens for one adult and accompanying children under the age of 17.

Household Membership: Free admission to the Gardens for two adults and accompanying children under the age of 17.

Special Events: AHS benefits do not extend to member-only events or member pricing for special events and our major annual fundraisers Art in the Gardens and Festival of Lights. We do require that AHS Reciprocal Members, purchase special event tickets (member discounts do not apply).
ROAM Reciprocal Program
MCBG Supporter Level Memberships, including those at the Rose, Magnolia, Camellia, Dahlia, and Rhododendron Levels, receive free admission and member discounts at 520+ museums from the United States, Canada, and more than 80 in California alone through the ROAM Reciprocal Program. Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM) was created in February of 2013 to fill a need among museums and their Members, a free reciprocal network that connects world-class institutions for the benefit of our Members. The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is excited to join this elite group of museums and cultural institutions!
How your ROAM benefits work at MCBG
A current membership card from a museum participating in the Reciprocal Organization of Associated Museums (ROAM) entitles you to:

Free admission to the Gardens for two adults and accompanying children under the age of 17

Access to the 10% MCBG Member's discount at our nursery and store

Special Events: ROAM benefits do extend to member-only events like our bi-annual Plant Sales. ROAM benefits do not extend to member pricing for special events and our major annual fundraisers Art in the Gardens and Festival of Lights. We do require that ROAM Reciprocal Members, purchase special event tickets (member discounts do not apply).
