Gratitude for Greater Access
Every day at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens, visitors arrive seeking beauty, solace, and a little wonder. Thanks to the generosity of two anonymous donors, we are taking an important step toward making that experience more accessible for everyone.
Two new mobility scooters are now available for guest use, offering freedom to explore more of the Gardens, breathe in the sea air, and discover favorite corners that were previously out of reach. These new scooters are smoother, safer, and more reliable, helping every visitor enjoy our miles of trails, vibrant plant collections, and sweeping coastal views.
This simple act of giving helps ensure visitors who rely on scooters feel fully included. Demand is especially high during the summer months, and we are steadily building a fleet to meet the need.
