We invite you—our citizen scientists and nature lovers—to explore our unique biodiversity and take a closer look. Team up with expert guides who will lead discovery groups focused on wildlife, native plants, and more. We will go beyond the "Deer Gates" and take an in-depth look at the wild side of our garden by the sea — 35 acres of natural area consisting of closed cone pine forest, coastal prairie, bluffs, and marine zone. The goal is to learn more about our natural surroundings observe the variety of plant and animal species that call this area home. Join us in a celebration of the plants and animals living at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Bring the whole family (fun for all ages) for a day of discovery!
Regular Gardens admission (free for members of the Gardens) is required to attend this event and may be paid upon arrival the day of the event at the Gardens' entrance. This event is free for educational groups (Must sign up in advance to qualify; send organizational info and group count to email@example.com 707-964-4352 x 19).
