The 19th Annual Art in the Gardens is a celebration of fine art and fine craft. Featuring local musicians and Mendocino County vintners pouring their best wines. Gourmet picnic baskets and a variety of foods are available for visitors to purchase and enjoy.
Spend the day in the spectacular Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Stroll along the paths, be dazzled by the Gardens in full bloom and be delighted by the year-around stream that tumbles towards the Pacific. This amazing backdrop, provided by Nature, offers the perfect venue for displays of art, wine, food and music.
Hailed by many as the best garden party on California's North Coast, Art in the Gardens is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Imagine a beautiful summer's day with:
Art ~ View the juried art on display and for sale by nearly 100 prominent artists.
Art in action ~ enjoy watching the process as art is carved, painted, blown and hammered into its final shape.
Wine ~ Enjoy wines ‘for Tastes and for sale’ from nearly 20 of Mendocino’s finest wineries.
Music ~ Music adds to the ambiance of the Garden setting and local gourmet food offers that final touch!
... all coming together to create a dynamic event right in the heart of the Botanical Gardens with horticultural displays at their peak; a backdrop that will dazzle and delight your senses with color and fragrance.
Art in the Gardens highlights include: a wide variety of fine art and crafts including beautiful, handcrafted furniture available for purchase. Artists in Action will be demonstrating their techniques, from weaving to woodworking. The Silent Auction area will offer unique pieces donated by the artists, with 100% of the proceeds going to the Gardens. Wine tasting from Mendocino County's best wineries will be available with the purchase of an event wine glass. Gourmet picnic baskets featuring the finest local food and wine will be available for purchase, as well as delicious food from select vendors. Live music and performances will add to the ambiance and charm of this delightful summer's day!
Please note that Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens will be closed to general admission visitors.

TICKET INFORMATION
Adult Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 the day of the event.
Youth Tickets are $8 in advance.
A limited number of Gourmet Picnic Baskets are available in two sizes:
Single ($25) and Double ($45).
Wineglasses for tasting are $20.
Lodging on the Mendocino coast is limited. We suggest you reserve your room as far in advance as possible.

We invite you to join us for the 18th annual ART IN THE GARDENS, a celebration of fine art. It is our goal to support you, the artist, by providing a beautiful exhibit space, attracting over 1,500 visitors, and keeping exhibit fees and commissions low.
