It's time to get back into our Gardens and we've got some classes and events to get you motivated! Below is a list of our upcoming events for March.

Caring for Camellias

10:00 am to noon in the Cowlick’s Area

Join local nurseryman and camellia breeder Dan Charvet of Heartwood Growing Grounds for a class on this beautiful plant. To be followed by a walk in the MCBG Camellia collection. $5 for members, $10 for non-members.

Planting Your Spring Vegetable Garden

10:00am to noon in the Meeting Room

John Richardson of Noyo Hill Farm, Fort Bragg, will focus on early and typical cool weather crops, starting warm weather crops and other timing issues. $5 for members, $10 for non-members.

Getting Started with Rhododendrons

10:00 am to noon in the Cowlick’s Area

Find out more on selecting, growing and caring for these wonderful plants, join rhododendron growers Jim and Frank of Celeri and Son Nursery for a class and walk through the MCBG Rhododendron Collections. $5 for members, $10 for non-members.
