Dear Garden Club Representative,

I am contacting you with the hope that the garden related events and activities of  Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens will be of interest to you and your garden club members. We plan to send you three notices per year – one in spring, summer and fall. We invite you to share these Eblasts with your members and welcome you to visit, either individually or with your club.

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is located on 47 acres between Highway One and the Pacific Coast two miles south of Fort Bragg. We have noted collections of Rhododendron, Camellias, Heaths & Heathers, Conifers and plants from exotic corners of the world that do well in this coastal environment.

Our nursery provides an array of interesting and unusual plants, many propagated from our specimens. Our store is a garden-lovers delight offering the best of everything garden-related. Our perennial garden is stunningly beautiful. Gardeners will find many ideas to emulate. Beyond the deer gates visitors wander through a Bishop Pine forest under-planted with natives and Rhododendron on their way to our coastal headlands with their remarkable view. We also have an historic section of the Gardens that represents early days in Mendocino complete with a 19th Century Farmhouse, vegetable garden, pioneer cemetery and fish weirs. There are places to picnic or just sit quietly observing the hummingbirds dance around flowers. Every season has its beauty and surprises. We would love to share these Gardens that we love with you and your members.

Hope to see you here.
