What's happening at the Gardens?

Many of our classes have limited room, please call 707-964-4352 ext 16 to reserve your space. A small fee may be charged for classes, walks are free with Gardens’ admission.

Birdwatching with the Audubon Society
Early Bird Walks: 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8:00 am
Beginning Birding Walks: 1st Saturday of the month at 9:00 am

The Gardens are a delightful place to view our feathered friends! Over 150 species of birds live in or visit the Gardens each year. Join the experts and learn more about our avian friends. Walks start at the Gardens Entrance. For more information call 707-962-9413 or 707-964-6362. Meet at Front Desk/Plaza, walk is included in the Gardens admission.

Chickens 101

10:00am to noon in the Gardens Meeting Room

Interested in bringing some feather friends into your garden? Join Master Gardener Ben Nicholson for a look at getting started with chickens in your backyard. Topics to be covered include buying chicks verses incubating and hatching eggs, chicken breeds, coop design, feeding and watering, egg laying, diseases, predators and pests, and local chicken laws and ordinances. For workshop details contact the Gardens Store at 707-964-4352 ext 16. Class size may be limited, call 707-964-4352 ext 16 to reserve your space. $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers.
