Mendocino Coast Master Gardeners design a winner!
A garden that's beautiful, educational, and just a lot of fun!
The Mendocino Coast Master Gardeners took first place for a Sunny Garden Display at the Mendocino County Fair and Apple Show this past weekend. The garden theme was "Anyone can plant a garden in anything, anywhere!" and demonstrated several unique container garden examples.
Participating Master Gardeners were Henrietta Bensussen, Sue Brown, Susan Cave, Sandra Janisch, Ben Nicholson, Pam Rivette, Kristina Van Wert, and Katie Wheeler, with generous assistance from Joe Janisch and support from Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens and North Star Nursery.
