Docent Training at the Gardens

Do you love the Gardens? Would you like to share your love with others? Become a Gardens Docent!
Classes begin Thursday, May 6.

The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens is scheduling docent training for people interested in leading tours in a beautiful environment devoted to plants.

Geisce Ly, Dean of the College of the Redwoods, will teach the first class, May 6, on presentation skills. Gardens staff will lead the next three, at the Gardens. Classes will be held each Thursday in May from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. If you like gardens, have some basic knowledge, and would enjoy learning more in order to share this information with our visitors, please call the Gardens Volunteer Coordinator, Carmen Funderburk, 707-964-4352 x 25.
