Ikebana Workshop
Saturday, January 14th and 21st, Explore the vast creativity in arranging flowers “Japanese Style”. Enjoy two Japanese Flower Arranging Workshops led by Diane Coughtry, a certified Sogetsu School Ikebana Instructor.
These workshops will cover the artistic principals to create the striking designs of contemporary Ikebana. Step by step techniques and basic rules to create a balanced, asymmetric shape will be demonstrated, allowing even beginners to create a beautiful arrangement. No previous flower arranging or art experience is necessary.
