Jennifer Lorton – Creating Tabletop Garden Whimsy 11am – 11:20 & 12:50 – 1:10
Artist and owner of ‘Sparkle & Posey’
Some may know Jennifer Lorton primarily through her paintings, and her artistry is not confined to brush on canvas. Creatively ingenious, she moves deeper—blending her proprietary plaster mixture with found objects, encaustic wax, gilding, journaling, collage and whatever strikes her in the creative moment. Lorton’s works are filled with symbolic expressions found in the surroundings of life – winged animals, fish, grapes, flowers and plants.
Today Jennifer will share her artistic point of view in a presentation taking items from the garden and transforming them into beautiful, creative and whimsical tabletop centerpieces. Keep an eye out for Jennifer’s magic wands!
