Summer of Art
Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens presents the ‘Preview to the Summer of Art’. Join us for the grand opening of the 2011 Sculpture Gallery and enjoy an afternoon of live music, demonstrations of gardening art & art in action.
Meet the featured Artist for ‘Art in the Gardens’ and get the first look at the 2011 Art in the Gardens poster and original art. Take the docent led tour to meet the sculpture artists featured in the 2011 Sculpture Gallery.
(This event is free to members / included with price of admission).
Activities include:
Opening of Sculpture Gallery – meet the artists.
Preview of Art in the Gardens and poster
signing – noon to 2:30 pm.
Live music in the Meadowlawn - noon to 3:00 pm.
Power of Plants workshop – viewing only while workshop is in session.
Art in Lavender – noon to 2:30 pm.
