MEADOW LAWN

The wet area at the upper end of the Meadow Lawn is an excellent place for plants favoring moist soils. The giant-leaved Gunnera is a favorite of many visitors, but be sure to look for the more subtle beauty of the various forms of sedge found beneath them. This is also the site of our annual Storytelling Festival, every Friday and Saturday afternoon in July from 2 pm to 3 pm.
