FERN CANYON AND DIGGER CREEK
Fern Canyon Trail runs next to Digger Creek and goes through the closed-cone pine forest along a fern-covered hillside. Growing between the ferns are big leaf rhododendrons, fuchsias, native forest wildflowers, and Pacifica iris. You can stand on one of the seven bridges that crisscrosses the creek and watch for fish, or just sit on a creekside bench and enjoy the serene sound of the gently cascading stream.
