FORT BRAGG RHODODENDRONS

These plants, uniquely suited to our climate, were all hybridized, or named, by local rhododendron enthusiasts.

Rhododendron 'Noyo Chief', pictured here, is the official flower of Fort Bragg. A favorite, it bears shiny foliage and bright red trusses, and is prized among rhododendron lovers.
