WHAT'S BLOOMING — SUMMER

Summer has arrived and the Gardens are in glorious color! The large photograph below shows our lovely Heritage Rose Garden. Almost all the roses in this special collection were discovered along roadsides and on old homesteads and ranches here in Mendocino County. These old roses were brought here by the pioneers when the West was being settled in the nineteenth century.
